STORPWR ENERGY SYSTEMS · SACRAMENTO, CA
Privacy policy
EFFECTIVE AUGUST 26, 2026 · LAST UPDATED AUGUST 26, 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
- We collect what you type into our form — name, phone, email, ZIP, utility, and whatever you tell us about your home — so an engineer can give you a real answer.
- We don’t sell your information. We don’t rent it, trade it, or pass your inquiry to other solar companies. You reached the company that would do the work.
- This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers. No analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording.
- Give us your phone number and we’ll use it — a call, a text, or an email about your request. Tell us to stop and we stop.
- Want a copy of what we hold, or want it deleted? Email info@storpwr.com or call (916) 415-8048.
THE LONG VERSION IS BELOW, AND IT IS THE PART THAT GOVERNS.
01
Who we are
This policy covers storpwr.com and the way we handle personal information about homeowners who contact us, request a free assessment, or have us design, install, and service an energy system.
StorPWR Energy Systems is a business name of Nanofy of California LLC, a California limited liability company, CSLB license #1127639. Our office is at 9912 Business Park Dr, Suite 140, Sacramento, CA 95827.
“We,” “us,” and “our” mean StorPWR. “You” means the person using this site or talking to us about a system.
02
What we collect
| Category | What that means here | Why we have it | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, and — if you become a customer — your service address | To answer you, and to design, permit, and install a system | Our email inbox and our CRM |
| Your home and utility | Your electric utility, usage history from your bills, and details and photos of your roof, panel, and meter | To size and price the system from real data instead of a brochure | Our CRM; your city and your utility on permit and interconnection filings |
| What you tell us | Your note on the form, plus what you say on a call and the notes our team writes down | So the next person you talk to isn’t starting over | Our email inbox and our CRM |
| Internet activity | IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, referring page | To keep the site up, diagnose faults, and block abuse | Ordinary server logs at our hosting and network providers |
What you give us
The free assessment form. Your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, your electric utility, what you’re interested in, and an optional note. People often use that note to describe their bill, their outages, an EV, or medical equipment at home. Whatever you put there comes to us.
Booking a consultation. If you pick a time on our scheduler, we collect your name, your contact details, and the slot you chose.
Calls, texts, and email. Whatever you tell us, plus the notes we keep about your project.
Ads. If you reached us through a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta collected what you typed there and passed it to us. What Meta does with it on their side is governed by Meta’s privacy policy, not this one.
What we collect if you become a customer
To design a system, get it permitted, and turn it on, we work with your service address, details and photos of your roof, panel, and meter, your utility account number and usage history (from your bills or, with your authorization, from your utility), and the documents a building department and your utility require for permits, inspection, and Permission to Operate.
If you ask about financing, you apply to the lender — that application goes to them and their privacy policy governs it. We do not collect Social Security numbers or full financial account numbers through this website.
What we collect automatically
Our web server and the network in front of it keep ordinary request logs: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the time, and the referring page. That is the standard record any web server keeps in order to serve a page.
03
What we use it for
- Answering you, and preparing a design and a fixed price from your actual usage
- Scheduling and running your free assessment
- Ordering equipment, pulling permits, applying for interconnection, and installing
- Registering your equipment for warranty coverage and monitoring the system afterward
- Service calls and honoring the 10-year warranty
- Keeping the business records a licensed California contractor is required to keep
- Keeping this site working, secure, and free of abuse
We do not use your information to make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not build advertising profiles.
04
What we don’t do
Worth saying out loud, because a lot of solar websites do the opposite:
- We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising — the two things California law gives you the right to opt out of.
- We don’t pass your inquiry to other contractors. There is no lead broker in the middle. You reached the licensed company that would do the work.
- This site sets no cookies of ours, and carries no analytics or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, and no session recording on storpwr.com.
The one thing your browser does store for us: a single value, spw-y, that
remembers how far down the page you had scrolled so a refresh doesn’t drop you back
at the top. It lives in your browser’s session storage, never leaves your device,
and disappears when you close the tab.
05
Where your form goes
When you submit the assessment form it goes to two places, both of them ours:
- Email to info@storpwr.com, delivered by FormSubmit, a form-to-email service. Your submission passes through their systems on the way to our inbox.
- Our own CRM at crm.storpwr.com, so a lead lands on someone’s list instead of getting lost in an inbox. It travels there through our own server, which holds the credential — that key is never sent to your browser.
06
Other companies’ code on this page
Even with no trackers, a web page loads files from other companies, and whoever serves a file necessarily sees your IP address and browser in order to send it:
- Render hosts this site and Cloudflare sits in front of it as the network and security layer.
- Fontshare and Google Fonts serve the typefaces.
- Google Hosted Libraries serves the 3D viewer used for the Powerwall model on the home page.
None of these are configured by us to profile you, and we receive no analytics from them. Each has its own privacy policy covering what it does with request data.
07
How we’ll contact you — and how to stop it
When you hand us a phone number or an email address, you are asking us to get back to you about your request, and we may do that by phone call, text message, or email. Message and data rates may apply to texts. This is a conversation about your home, not a subscription.
To stop it: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or just tell us — call (916) 415-8048 or email info@storpwr.com and say “remove me.” We’ll honor it. Agreeing to marketing contact is never a condition of buying anything from us.
If we ever record a call, we will say so at the start of that call, and you can ask us not to.
08
Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in to SMS from StorPWR, we may text you about your inquiry, follow-ups, scheduling, appointment reminders, and requested services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Opting in is a separate, optional checkbox on our form — leaving it unchecked changes nothing about your request or your place in line. The full messaging terms, including the carrier disclaimer, are in our Terms of Service.
10
How long we keep it
If you ask us a question and we never do business: we keep the inquiry while we follow up, and afterward as an ordinary business record. Ask us to delete it and we will.
If you become a customer: we keep the project file at least as long as your warranty runs, and as long as California’s contracting, tax, permit, and record-keeping rules require. Some of those periods outlast the warranty, so there are documents we cannot delete on request — if you ask, we will tell you which ones and why, and delete everything else.
11
Your California privacy rights
California residents have rights over their personal information. We honor these requests whether or not the law obligates a company our size:
- Know — what we have collected about you, where it came from, why we have it, and who we have disclosed it to.
- Access — get a copy of it.
- Correct — fix it if it is wrong.
- Delete — have it deleted, except for what we are required to keep, as described above.
- Opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither, so there is nothing to switch off. If that ever changes, this page will say so first and a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link will appear here.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information through this site, and we do not use any for profiling or advertising.
- No retaliation — exercising any of this costs you nothing. It will not change your price, your service, or your place in line.
To make a request, email info@storpwr.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, call (916) 415-8048, or write to us at the address below. We will confirm we received it, verify who you are (usually by matching details you have already given us — we will not ask for anything more sensitive than necessary), and respond within 45 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why before those 45 days are up. An authorized agent may act for you with your written permission.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code §1798.83 lets residents ask once a year what personal information a business disclosed to third parties for those third parties’ own direct marketing. We do not disclose personal information for that purpose. If you would like that confirmed in writing, email info@storpwr.com.
12
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal, and there is still no agreed standard for how a site should answer one, so we do not respond to it. What it asks about — tracking you across other websites — is something we do not do. We do not allow third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activity across different websites when you use storpwr.com.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information. Because we do neither, honoring it changes nothing about how we handle your data.
13
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. The credential our server uses to file leads into the CRM stays on the server and is never sent to your browser. Access to lead and customer records is limited to the people who need it to do their job.
No system is perfectly secure and we won’t pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as California law requires.
14
Children
This site is for homeowners. It is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, email info@storpwr.com and we will delete it.
15
Services we link to
Our scheduler, our CRM, financing partners, Tesla, and the CSLB license lookup are separate services with their own privacy policies. When you leave storpwr.com, this policy stops applying.
16
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant — for example, if we begin using analytics or advertising tools, or ever start sharing information for advertising — we will say so on the home page for at least 30 days, so it isn’t easy to miss. Continuing to use the site after a change means the updated policy applies to you.
Everything on this page describes how storpwr.com works today, on the effective date above — not a template of what we might do someday.
If you are reading this because you are deciding whether to hand us your phone number: the answer to “who else gets this?” is nobody.
